Superb fly tester for streamers and nymphs

When I saw the Kalax fly tester for the first time, I was amazed right away. The last few years I tied hundreds of very special streamers and most of them I just tried for the first while fishing. About the action and mobility of the fly, I just rely on my fishing and fly tying experience. Some of the flies became real killers, others did reasonable but also some of them were useless while moving up side down or side ways. I prefer to test my flies after making them and with dry flies it's no problem but to try certain nymphs or streamers you need at least a bathtub or go to the nearest river if you want to see their action in some moving water. After using it for some time now I can say that the Kalax fly tester became an indispensable tool in my tying room. It is extremely handy for testing my special flies for which I usually have to go my local fishing spot to see their actions in the water.
