Dressing:

Hook: Partridge E1A size 16-18
Thread: Black
Tail: Microfibets, dark grey
Tag: Flyrite no 17
Body: Flyrite no 44
Ribbing: Pearsill silk 6a
Hackle: Dark dun
Wing: Dark dun siliconised yarn (Niche)

  Tying technique:

Tie on thread, apply a very little amount of the golden brown dubbing for tiny little tag. Just enough to tie in 2 microfibets on each side of the tag en split them in a nice V shape. .

Tie in the Pearsall thread for ribbing and make a nice body of dark olive brown dubbing. Secure it with your ribbing silk.

Tie in the wing and hackle and tie it as parachute and you will have a perfect imitation for when baetis are hatching or lay their eggs.

Be sure you have a nice long wing to make the perfect silhouette when the sun is shining.
