Pulsar
series The idea
for the Pulsar’s arose in 1989 after I read an article
about Rats and Cossebooms (which both feature collared
hackles). But instead of using a hackle, I used a mixture
of dyed rabbit fur and tied it in as a collard to awake
some extra action in which I believe attracts salmon
better.

Bondal
series
With the advent of the Bondal Black,
even more hairwings within the same series evolved and they larger and
larger. Today the Bondal series include about 13 difference
patterns, which are worthwhile to try for Atlantic Salmon
in Europe, Russia and eastern North-America.

Flies to catch "Inconnu"
When I started to explore the feeding behaviour of the
Inconnu, I found that spoons were most successful in
inciting them to strike. I, therefore, wanted a good trade
off between realistic fish fry and a streamer. I actually
had put all my efforts into designing a small streamer
with the same action and mobility as a huge well-proven
pike fly.
